Catwoman finally has reached her classic garb, and returned to her black hair, as she makes the cover of Batman 42 (Aug/Sept 47).
In the story, by Finger and Charles Paris, she also wears some variations on this, a light brown outfit, and a purple one with pants.
But the first panel on this page, of Catwoman reclining on a couch, with a cat near her, would be echoed in many of her appearances in the next few years. In this story she bases her crimes on fictional cats.
There are some decent scenes, including a Cheshire Cat death-trap, but despite the plusses, this is not one of her best stories.
